The challenges facing on the renaming campaign were the confusion amongst the audience assuming the company had been sold due to their negative status and the brand identity has changed along with their unique services. To tackle our challenges, we developed a single phrase signifying the name change, as well as developing eye-catching visuals to be advertised as carousel ads & a short video.
Finally, we used the same message to continuously post on Facebook and Instagram to hammer down the issue and prevent confusion.
The message we used was بالاسم تغيّرنا in Arabic, signifying the name change with wordplay twist and CFC is now FNB Finance in English.
